Department Action

This is notification to Commissioners Court of a budget establishment for the Texas Veteran Rehabilitation Substance Abuse Treatment Program for FY2024 in the amount of $213,752.31. With a match of $71,250.79. The purpose of this state funding is to support development and implementation of residential substance abuse treatment programs within correctional and detention facilities in which prisoners are incarcerated for a period sufficient to permit substance abuse treatment and after-care programs for those prisoners. The grant period is from October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024.
