The FY 2025 proposed budget calendar moves the budget workshop into July and the tax rate workshop to the beginning of August. The difference between option 1 and option 2 are the adoption dates. If the tax rate is not proposed by Tuesday, August 6th, the county would not be able to adopt the tax rate and budget until August 26th due to newspaper deadlines.
