The Engineering staff and TxDOT have come to a tentative agreement for the sale of a parcel to TxDOT for the US 380 project. The County purchased a 34.101 acre tract of land on FM 1827, a portion of which is needed for the US 380 Freeway. The footprint of the freeway transverses this tract diagonally and consists of 15.41 acres. This tract is identified on the tax roles as PID 2120540 and is identified by TxDOT as P00074512. The tentative settlement is for $3,260,869.40 for the 15.41 acres.
Action Recommended:
It is recommended that the Commissioners Court approve the sale of Parcel P00074512 for the amount of $3,260,869.40 and authorize the County Judge to execute all documents necessary for closing of this transaction.
