Public Works respectfully requests Commissioners Court approval for Contract No. 2024-339 for Captive Replacement Repair Parts/Refurbishing to Holt Cat, ROMCO, and Southwest International Trucks for the period of June 10, 2024 through May 31, 2025. These vendors are sole source providers per court order 2015-818-11-02.

The estimated annual spend for this contract is:

    Holt Cat: $100,000
ROMCO: $75,000
Southwest International Trucks: $75,000

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action to: (1) allow an exemption from the competitive bidding process per Local Government Code 262.024(7)(a) for Holt Cat, ROMCO, and Southwest International Trucks as sole providers of large equipment captive replacement, repair and refurbishing; and (2) approve Contract 2024-339 Captive Replacement Repair Parts/Refurbishing to same exempted vendors for the period of June 10, 2024 through May 31, 2025 in the estimated amount per attached documentation. -SAH
