Department Action

The Juvenile Probation Department is respectfully requesting Commissioner’s Court approval to apply for a grant from the Moody Foundation. If awarded, grant funding will be used to provide case management services for youth and families participating in the department’s C.T.D. Program. This program is designated to identify, treat, and divert kids who are victims of human trafficking. The grant request is for $47,247.00 with no county match.

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval to apply for a grant through the Moody Foundation for the human trafficking program for $47,247 with no County match required. The grant period is March 1, 2022 through February 28, 2023. gz

HR and/or IT Action

Grant amount will cover one part time Juvenile Probation or Supervision officer for salary and benefits.

Budget Department Action

Collin County C.T.D. Program FY 2022 Grant in the amount of 47,247 from the Moody Foundation. Grant funds to cover the salary and eligible benefits for one (1) part-time Juvenile Probation Officer position at 100%. Contract period is March 1, 2022 through February 28, 2023.

Auditor's Office Action

Grant application has been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Funds for a new position. This will be a 1 year grant period. Private foundation funds in the amount of $47,247 with no county match required. Grant period is /1/2022 through 2/28/2023.
