| Department Action |
The Engineering Department requests the approval of Amendment No. 13 to the Engineering Services Agreement (ESA) with Birkhoff Hendricks and Carter (BHC). This amendment will account for additional Construction Administration, ROW Maps, Plats and Field Notes, Geotechnical Investigations and Utility Coordination in the amount of $70,728 and will be split between Collin County, City of Celina and Town of Prosper ($23,576.00 each). This additional work is needed because the project was delayed by several months due to utility conflicts. During this time, BHC has been fully involved with the project.
The City of Celina and Town of Prosper would also like to add design services for Developer Initiated Driveways and Median Openings in the amount of $38,450.00. This cost will be split by the City of Celina and Town of Prosper.
The net change is adding $109,178.00 to the contract, to cover the additional design and construction administration efforts, revising the total contract amount to $2,762,232.00.
Action Requested: It is recommended that Commissioner’s Court
- approve Collin County’s Amendment No. 13 for the Frontier Parkway Engineering Services Agreement with Birkhoff, Hendricks and Carter.
- authorize the Auditor to transfer funds from Celina and Prosper (totaling $85,602.00) to RI07014-4202-750300013-809250
