The Engineering Department is acquiring right of way for the extension of Outer Loop from FM 2478 to US 75.

Sheryl Lynn Bates owns the property located west of CR 126 just north of CR 125. The County is seeking to obtain 14.593 acres of permanent ROW.

Scott Levine, the County’s attorney, previously explained the specifics of this parcel to the court in executive session on December 6^th. Scott negotiated with the landowner and the result is that the owner is willing to settle as stipulated in the attached Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).

Engineering Staff is seeking the court's approval of the staff's recommended settlement amount as stipulated in the MOA and allow the Judge to execute the appropriate closing documents.
