Department Action

The Engineering Department requests that the contract with Jacobs Engineering for services relating to design of the CCOL east bound (southern) service road be increased by $9,897.25. This increase is for surveying services necessary for the preparation of drainage easements and right-of-way staking for fence relocations.

Since neither of these tasks were part of Jacobs original scope, inclusion of the attached Supplemental Scope of Services is also requested.

Commissioners Courts approval of this contract amendment and Supplemental Scope of Services is requested and I will be available to answer any questions you might have regarding this matter.

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval of contract amendment No. 2 to the contract with Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., AGR 2019-269, Preparation of Final Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS & E) for the Collin County Outer Loop, Segment 3B East of Preston Rd (SH 289) to Custer Rd (FM 2478), to add the preparation of easement documents and right-of-way staking for fence relocations for the amount of $9,897.25. Further, authorize the Purchasing Agent to execute same. MD
