Attached you will find the Interlocal Agreement for Law Enforcement Services to Lucas. This is a new contract and updated fees for FY 2022, for your approval.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding the approval of the Interlocal Agreement, AGR 2021-375, Law Enforcement Services between Collin County and the City of Lucas, beginning on the date signed by last party and continuing through September 30, 2022, to include one (1) year renewal periods; further authorize the County Judge to finalize and execute same. slh

Budget Department Action

Requesting approval of the Interlocal Agreement AGR 2021-375, Law Enforcement Services with the City of Lucas for 2 full time Patrol Deputies' salary and benefits as well as vehicle maintenenance and fuel costs. The City of Lucas will re-imburse the county for the actual costs, but they are estimated to total $226,388. Contract term is October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022 with 1 year renewal periods.

Reimbursement is included in the FY 2022 Estimates. Budget anticipated to be approved for FY 2022.
