Department Action

On August 23, 2005, Commissioners Court approved a Right of Entry and Possession agreement with CCC Partnership, L.P. for the Parcel at 3751 N. Central Expwy, McKinney, TX 75071. (Agreement attached). This Right of Entry and Possession granted Collin County and its contractors, the rights to use the parcel, ahead of Right of Way acquisition, for the purpose of constructing the utility and roadway improvements. The agreement stipulated that the County would eventually move forward with the purchase of the property; however, the agreement was entered into at the time to accommodate the schedule of Collin County and its construction and utilities contractors involved in the roadway project.

On October 25, 2005 Commissioners Court approved the award of bid for construction of Bloomdale Road, from the Southbound Frontage Road of US 75 to Community Drive and the project has since been completed. The County now needs to complete the transaction to purchase the ROW from CCC Partnership, L.P. in the amount of $69,652.00, which is the 2007 CCAD value. The owners have agreed to the recommended amount.

A budget adjustment will need to be done to move funds into accounts associated with the project code that was used for the construction of Bloomdale Road from US 75 southbound frontage road to Community Drive. The recommended budget adjustment is as follows:

The acquisition of the Right of Way from CCC Partnership, L.P. in the amount of $69,652.00; and
