Department Action

I respectfully request the Court to consider and approve the distribution of 50,000 dollars to the Collin College Foundation. The purpose of this funding is to provide tuition assistance to paid and volunteer members of the various Fire Departments within Collin County for select courses offered by the Collin College Fire Science Program.
This funding will be allocated from the Firefighter subsidy approved in the FY2022 budget.
