Department Action

The attached contract between West Publishing Corporation and the Collin County Law Library is for the Library Maintenance Agreement in the Law Library. The monthly charge for the print materials is $6,062.00 for the first year running from October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2023, and continuing for an additional two years. The three-year term has a limited 5% increase in monthly charges after each twelve-month period. The negotiated three-year contract will run congruent with the Collin County budget cycle.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval to award Contract 2022-409, Law Library Print Subscription/Library Maintenance Agreement to West Publishing Corporation, with Addendum to West Order Form, and authorize Purchasing Agent to execute same. Note: West Publishing Corporation is the sole source provider for printed materials for legal research for the Law Library and Courts per Court Order No. 2016-670-09-12. mlm
