Department Action

I respectfully request that the Commissioners Court accept the Adult Mental Health Court Grant FY2023. I was notified, on October 7, 2022, that our grant application was accepted in the full amount requested, totaling $409,046.20. The grant period runs from September 1, 2022 to August 31, 2023. The grant will be used to fund the 219th Judicial District Court in collaboration with the County Court at Law #3, in presiding over cases for the Adult Mental Health Court (AMHC) Program, which will be a pre-trial diversion court.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval to accept the Office of the Governor (OOG) grant for Adult Mental Health Court for $409,046.20 with no County match required. The grant period is September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023. gz

Budget Department Action

FY 2022-2023 Adult Mental Health Grant award in the amount of $406,046.20 in state funds with no county match required. Grant will cover personnel, contractual and professional services, training and travel, equipment and supplies, and other operating expenses. County will be responsible for maintaining equipment. Grant period is September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023.

Auditor's Office Action

Grant application had been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Grant award of state funds in the amount of $409,046.20 with no county match required. Grant period is September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023.
