Respectfully requesting approval to accept UASI LE Grant funds in the amount of $111,812.00. This will fund salary and benefits for two Fusion Center Research Analysts for 12 months. Grant period is from Oct 1, 2022 through Sapt 30, 2023.

FY 2023 UASI Fusion Analysts DVE Grant award in the amount of $111,812 in federal funds to partially fund salary and benefits for 2 existing positions in the Fusion Center. This grant is combined with another UASI grant to fund the 2 positions at 100%. Based on the incumbents current salaries and upcoming wage movement of 5%, the grant amount awarded may not fully fund these 2 existing positions. After combining both grant awards, it is estimated that additional funds may be required. (estimated additional funds in the amount of $3K) Grant term is October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023.

Budget Department Action

FY 2022 UASI Regional Grant in the amount of $111,812 in federal funds to partially fund salary and benefits for 2 existing positions in the Fusion Center. This grant when combined with the FY 2022 UASI Fusion Analysts DVE Grant will fund the 2 positions at 100%. Grant term is October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023.

Auditor's Office Action

Grant application was reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Grant award of federal funds in the amount of $111,812 with no county match required. Grant period is October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023.
