Department Action

Health Care Services requests approval to cancel one element of Collin County’s existing contract with Greenway, the vendor for the PrimeSuite electronic medical record system. The implementation of a previous amendment to the contract for bi-directional communication between PrimeSuite and the Texas Department of State Health Services ImmTrac System has resulted in a product that does not perform as expected. Negotiations have occurred over several months between the vendor, Purchasing, and Health Care Services but no acceptable outcome was reached. Due to this, Health Care Services plans to cancel the Texas ImmTrac Outbound Immunization element of the existing contract with Greenway. This will reduce the $3,093.41 monthly contracted fee associated with Greenway by $15.00 to $3,078.41 per month. The remainder of the contract with Greenway with will be unaffected by this one service’s cancelation.

Request Health Care Foundation consideration and any action regarding approval of Amendment No. 5 to 12108-10, Electronic Medical Records System, with Greenway Health LLC to cancel the bi-directional communication between PrimeSuite and the Texas Department of State Health Services ImmTrac System, and authorize Purchasing Agent to execute same. mlm
