Department Action

The Juvenile Probation Department has applied for and been awarded a grant from the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division to help fund the operations of the 417^th Juvenile Drug Court, the SOAR Program. The grant award is for $45,000.00 with no county match.
These funds will be used to provide substance abuse treatment services for program participants.

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval to accept grant from the Office of the Governor, Juvenile Drug Court program in the amount of $45,000 with no County match required. The grant period is September 1, 2021 through August 31, 2022. gz

FY 2022 Juvenile Drug Court Program in the amount of $45,000 for the Juvenile SOAR Program. No county match required. Grant will cover inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment services for juvenile SOAR Program participants. Grant period is September 1, 2021 through August 31, 2022.

Auditor's Office Action
