Department Action

I respectfully request the Court to consider and approve the enclosed ILA to provide the City of Lavon fire inspection and fire plan review services. Section 352.019 (C) of the Texas Local Government Code provides the ability to the Fire Marshal’s Office to enforce orders and decrees within a municipality in the county when specifically required to do so by interlocal agreement.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval of Amendment No. 2 to the Interlocal Agreement 2019-151, Fire Inspections and Fire Plan Review with City of Lavon for the period October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022 at the same rates established in the original agreement and authorize Purchasing Agent to execute same. AZ

Budget Department Action

Contract renewal of Interlocal Agreement No. 2019-151 between Collin County and the City of Lavon for fire inspections and fire plan review services. Renewal for one (1) year to include pricing set forth in the original award. Agreement period October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022.

Revenues included in the FY 2022 Estimates.

Commissioners Court

No. 2 to Fire Inspection & Fire Plan Review (Agreement No. 2019-151) with the City of Lavon to extend the contract for one (1) year through and including September 30, 2022, and further authorize the Purchasing Agent to finalize and execute same, Fire Marshal.
