The Engineering Department requests approval of Contract Amendment #3 with BGE, Inc. Amendment #3 includes:
FM 546 Phase I:
- Adding final design services to the Plans, Specifications and Estimate (PS&E) to develop construction plans and estimates for what is now called Myrick Lane/Boorman Lane. $1,615,859.55
- Extending the (Planning/Schematic) limits approximately 0.34 miles west to FM 982 at the request of City of Princeton. $111,840.03
FM 546 Phase II:
- Adds additional engineering, environmental, and stakeholder coordination tasks to the (Planning/Schematic) scope of work. $715,867.00
TOTAL for Amendment #3: $2,443,566.58
Recommended Action: It is requested that the Commissioners Court:
- Approve contract Amendment #3 for Professional Engineering Services with BGE, Inc. for the FM 546 Alignment Study, Environmental Analysis and Preparation of Design Schematic (Agreement No. 2019-210), increasing the contract by $2,443,566.58, for a total of $6,156,241.20.
- Approve the budget adjustment to move funds that are available in Project Code RI18005CO to the appropriate expenditure account.
