I am requesting Commissioners Court approval to apply for the FY 2024 General Victim Assistance Grant from the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division, which funds the salary and benefits of a full-time Victim Assistance Coordinator.  This Victim Assistance Coordinator grant position was initially adopted in the FY 2016 budget and is currently funding a Victim Assistance Coordinator position in my office.  The one-year federal funding is for $78,245, with no match required.  The grant period is October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024.
