2023 US Marshals Service Violent Offender Task Force Grant in the amount of $45,000 in federal funds with no county match required. Funds will be used to reimburse the county for overtime costs associated with the joint MOU to investigate and apprehend local, state and federal fugitives who have warrants for their arrest. Grant term is October 3, 2022 through September 30, 2023.

Auditor's Office Action

Grant award has been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Federal funds in the amount of $45,000 for overtime of Sheriff’s Office deputies. No county match is required. Intent of this joint MOU is to investigate and apprehend local, state and federal fugitives who have warrants for their arrests, thereby improving public safety and reducing violent crime. Grant period is 10/3/2022 through 9/30/2023.
