Department Action

Respectfully requesting approval to accept funds through the FY 2024 UASI CI/KR Grant, in the amount of $45,000.00. This will partially fund the salary and benefits for one full-time Research Analysts within the Fusion Center.

FY 2024 SHSP DI-KP Grant. At the time of application, salary and fringe were estimated to fully fund one (1) existing Research Specialist position in a 532 pay grade for existing employee Makenna Rasor (position # 00300615). The amount awarded is $45,000 and will only partially fund the position. Grant period is October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024.

Budget Department Action

FY 2024 UASI CI/KR Grant award in the amount of $45,000 in federal funds for 1 existing Research Specialist. Original estimates fully funded the position, but the award is estimated to only fund 68% of the salary and benefits. Grant period is October 1, 2023 through September 2024.

Auditor's Office Action

Grant award of federal funds in the amount of $45,000 with no county match required by the grantor. However, additional county funds will be required to make up the shortfall between the grant funds and actual salary and fringe incurred. Grant period is October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024. Grant application had been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Award amount is less than what the application was submitted for.
