Respectfully requesting approval to accept funds through the FY 2024 UASI SHSP-DVE Grant, in the amount of $48,400.89. This will fund software/equipment, and training/travel for the Fusion Center which will oversee DVE (Domestic Violent Extremism).

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval to accept the UASI SHSP-DVE grant for $48,400.89 with no County match of required. The grant period is September 1, 2023 through August 31, 2024. (Grant application had been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Grant application was turned in for a higher amount than originally approved on court. So this agenda is for consent and acceptance for the higher amount awarded.) gz
