Department Action

Commissioners Court approved the funding recommendations for the 2018 Parks and Open Space Bond, 5th Series, Project Funding Assistance Program on October 2, 2023. The City of Lavon’s Bear Creek Natural Open Space Corridor Extension Land Acquisition project was granted $375,000.00 in funding.
Action Requested: It is recommended that the Commissioners Court approve and execute the attached Interlocal Agreement between Collin County and the City of Lavon for the Bear Creek Natural Open Space Corridor Extension Land Acquisition project ($375,000) bond project OI18PG37.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval of an Interlocal Agreement between Collin County and the City of Lavon concerning the Bear Creek Natural Open Space Corridor Extension Land Acquisition; 2018 Parks and Open Space Bond, 5th Series. Further, authorize the County Judge to execute same. gz Collin County's participation is a NTE $375,000.

Funding to come from the 2018 Parks and Open Space Fifth Series Project Funding Assistance Program as well as saving from completed projects. 2018 Bond Fund (4031).
