Department Action

Attached is a request for approval to acquire one Dell Desktop Computer from Health and Human Services for Women, Infant and Children (WIC). The desktop computer will replace an existing WIC computer in the WIC offices. This computer will serve to provide supplemental food benefits, nutrition education and counseling to enhance good health care at no cost to low-income pregnant and postpartum women, infants and children identified to be at nutritional risk.

Acquisition of this desktop will not incur any additional costs for WIC or IT as it will replace our current device and current software licenses will be transferred. Required replacements can use WIC funds as they are 100% reimbursed by Health and Human Services. IT was consulted for this acquisition.

I respectfully request approval of the attached Certificate of Acquisition for WIC from Health and Human Services. Approval will require Judge Hill’s signature on the attached Certificate of Acquisition.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Health Care Foundation Board consideration and any action regarding the approval to acquire one (1) Dell Desktop Computer from South Plains Community Action Association, Inc.; further authorize the Board President to execute certificate of acquisition. MC

Budget Department Action

Acquisition of one (1) Dell laptop computer from South Plains Community Action Association, Inc. at no cost to the county. Current software license will be transferred to new device. County to be reimbursed for replacement of computer. (2108)-HC Grants WIC Program.

Auditor's Office Action

Acquisition of one computer at no cost to the county. No action required by the Auditor's Office.
