Department Action

This is a request to Commissioners Court with regards for the opportunity for the County to obtain LATCF payments from the U.S. Department of Treasury.

Collin County is eligible to receive $50,000 for 2022 and $50,000 for 2023 for a total of $100,000. LATCF is designed as a general revenue enhancement program and can be used on governmental purpose(s) except for lobbying activity. Information regarding LATCF eligibility, allocation, use, and terms are attached. If approved by Commissioners Court, the Auditor’s Office will submit the necessary information via the U.S. Treasury’s Submission Portal to secure the County’s LATCF allocation. The deadline for completing the submission is 1/31/2023.

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval to request from the Local Assistance and Tribal Consistency Fund (LATCF) through the U.S. Department of Treasury, up to $100,000 with no in-kind match required, and authorize County Judge to execute same. gz
