Department Action

In accordance with Local Government Code Sec. 351.0415(c), we are respectfully requesting approval to use the Collin County Sheriff’s Office Fund 734 – Inmate Commissary Account Number 700020134 for the following purposes.

Purchase 12 reams of drawing paper for an inmate art contest. The cost per ream is $29.69 through Office Depot for an estimated total of $356.28.
Blanket for General Education Development (GED) preparation and testing in the amount of $7,140. The funds would be used to pay for test proctors and Pearson Vue for GED testing of four inmates per month for the year.
Purchase 18 graduation cap, gown & tassel sets for inmate GED graduation ceremonies. The estimated total cost is $373.82 through Amazon.
Payment to Victory Supply for Invoice 0068386-B in the total amount of $1,886.40 for an additional 240 inmate mattress covers.

Total requesting to disperse from the Collin County Sheriff’s Office Fund 734 – Inmate Commissary Account Number 700020134 is $9,756.50.
