Department Action

Respectfully requesting approval to accept funds through the General Victim's Assistance Grant totaling $75,726.00 in funding. The grant will be used to fund salary, benefits, and training for one full time Collin County Sheriff's Office Crime Victims Advocate. The performance period for this grant is October 1, 2022, through September 30, 2023.

FY 2023 General Victim Assistance Grant funding is for the salary and fringe for an existing Victim Assistance Coordinator position in the Sheriff’s Office. (no increase to headcount) Grant is sufficient for this position at the minimum salary. Grant term is October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023.

FY 2023 General Victim Assistance Grant Award for 1 existing position (no increase to headcount) federally funded at 100% if position is filled at grade minimum. Grant term is October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023.
