The Office of Emergency Management, in coordination with Public Works and Purchasing, advertised an RFP for Disaster Debris Hauling Services in August of 2020. We received 11 submissions from vendors across the nation with varying degrees of experience in disaster debris hauling operations. A scoring committee comprised of County staff reviewed and scored each of the proposals. The RFP process has now concluded and Purchasing has made their recommendation for award.
I respectfully request that the Court consider and approve a primary and secondary award per the attached documentation. There will be no cost to the County unless the contractor is activated by the County.
