This is to request Commissioners Court approval to apply for the FY 2022 General Victim Assistance Grant from the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division, which funds the salary and benefits of a full-time Victim Assistance Coordinator.  This Victim Assistance Coordinator grant position was initially adopted in the FY 2016 budget and is currently funding a Victim Assistance Coordinator position in my office.    The one-year federal funding of $71,851 will be matched by existing personnel time spent on the program in the amount of $17,705.  The grant period is October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022.

Request Commissioners Court approval to apply for the FY2022 General Victim Assistance Grant from the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division, and authorize County Judge to execute certification form and resolution. sh

Grant to fund salary and benefits for full time District Attorney's Victim Assistance Coordinator position as well as training. Grant period is October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022.

Grant period is 10/1/2021 through 9/30/2022. Federal funds in the amount of $71,851 with a required in-kind match of $17,705
