I am conservatively asking for a $10,000 salary supplement for each of the 10 entry-level Misdemeanor Prosecutor positions in my office using the allocated, but unspent, FY2023 Misdemeanor Prosecutor salary funds.

Department request to use savings from FY 2023 vacancies for an annual $10,000 salary supplement for ten (10) entry-level misdemeanor prosecutors in FY 2023 (total of $100,000 plus benefits). Supplement to be added to each paycheck. Amount will be prorated based on start date of payment. Continuation into FY 2024 will need to be discussed at Budget Workshop. (0001) - General Fund.
