Department Action

We respectfully request Commissioners Court’s consideration of a grant application for a No-Cost Spay/Neuter Grant that would benefit the citizens of the unincorporated county.
Spay/Neuter is a proven method for reducing the intake of animals into animal shelters. In many instances, however, low-cost spay/neuter options are still cost prohibitive for lower-income families. With the help of this grant, we would be able to get more animals spayed/neutered that otherwise may not have that opportunity.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval to apply for MuttNation program funding to be used for spay-neuter dogs and cats.The amount of the grant is unknown during application and is only stated upon award. The grant period is October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025. gz

HR and/or IT Action

Budget Department Action

Request for approval to apply for the MuttNation Foundation Grant which will be used to spay & neuter dogs and cats in the rural area. Amount of grant is unknown at this time. The grant period is October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025.

Auditor's Office Action

Grant application has been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Grant to be used for the spay and neuter of dogs and cats in the rural areas of Collin County. Grant period is October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025. Grant amount is not known at time of application. Amount will be stated upon grant award.
