Department Action

THE REPORT WILL BE INSERTED BY THE END OF THE WEEK
In 2008, Collin County initiated the development of a Storm Water Management Program (SWMP) to comply with Federal and State regulations. With the help of our consultant, Jacobs Engineering, the engineering department developed a SWMP that consists of a series of Best Management Practices (BMPs), measurable goals and an implementation schedule.

In June 2019, we submitted our Program Renewal to TCEQ which extended our permit for another 5 years or into Term 3. We are currently reporting on the 5^th year of this permit term.
Each year we prepare a report for the TCEQ that details the previous year’s activities. This 2024 report outlining the 2023 activities is being presented to you for your review and approval.

ACTION:
Approval of the 2024 Storm Water Management Program Report outlining the 2023 activities and any applicable Notices of Change and allow Judge Hill to sign the supporting documentation for submittal to TCEQ.
