Respectfully requesting approval to apply for the FY25 UASI Regional Grant. This grant will partially fund salary & benefits for two full-time Research Analysts within the Sheriff's Office Fusion Center. The performance period is for one year, beginning September 1, 2024, through August 31, 2025, and the amount is $136,548.40 with no county match required.

FY25 UASI Regional Grant is noted to partially fund salary & benefits for two full-time Research Analyst positions (00300192 & 00300323) within the Sheriff's Office Fusion Center from September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025. The total amount of this grant, $136,548.40, is sufficient to cover the 40% of the estimated cost of salary and fringe for position number 00300192 and 60% of the estimated cost of salary and fringe for position 00300323.

FY 2024 UASI Regional Grant in the amount of $136,548.40 in federal funds with no county match required. Grant partially funds two full-time Research Analysts (#300192 and #300323). Remaining salaries are covered through two other grants making these positions 100% funded. Grant term is September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025.

Auditor's Office Action

Grant application has been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Grant to fund partial salary and benefits for 2 full time Sheriff's Office Research Analyst for the Fusion Center (the balance of salary and fringe are paid on 2 other grants). This will be a 1-year grant period. Grant period is September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025. Grant funds in the amount of $136,548.40 with no county match required.
