Respectfully requesting Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding the approval of Agreement 2021-220 Assistance to Obtain Federal Financial Participation for SCAAP Funding to Justice Benefits, Inc.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval of agreement with Justice Benefits, Inc. for Federal Financial Participation for the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program (SCAAP) and authorize Purchasing Agent to execute same. No cost to the County. Fee is 15% of monies collected. Justice Benefits, Inc. is a sole source provider for Federal Financial Participation for the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program (SCAAP) per Court Order 2017-300-05-01.TC

Requesting approval of the agreement for Assistance to Obtain Federal Financial Participation for SCAAP Funding with Justice Benefits, Inc. The County is responsible for paying Justice Benefits, Inc. 15% of all revenue paid to the County as described in each County signed Initiative.
