Department Action

Attached is a request for approval to acquire four Dell Laptop Computers from Health and Human Services for Women, Infant and Children (WIC). The laptop computers will replace four Microsoft Surface Pro tablets currently in the WIC offices. These computers will serve to provide supplemental food benefits, nutrition education and counseling to enhance good health care at no cost to low-income pregnant and postpartum women, infants and children identified to be at nutritional risk. If replacement is needed, WIC funds can be used to replace each computer. They are 100% reimbursed by Health and Human Services. IT has been consulted.

Purchasing Department Action

Health Care Foundation Board consideration and any action regarding the approval to acquire four (4) Dell Laptop Computers from South Plains Community Action Association, Inc.; further authorize Board President to execute certificate of acquisition. mc

HR and/or IT Action

IT recommends this request. All software license on the Surface Pro's will be moved to the Dell laptops.

Budget Department Action

Acquisition of four (4) Dell Laptop Computers from South Plains Community Action Association, Inc. to replace four (4) existing Microsoft Surface Pro tablets in the Collin County WIC office. No additional software or licenses required. County to be reimbursed for replacement of computers as needed.

Auditor's Office Action

No action required by the Auditor's Office.
