Department Action

Collin County Health Care Services wishes to move $119,837 of unspent funds that were originally budgeted for Contractual, Travel, and Other contract expenses. The funds will be redirected into the Personnel budget category to continue the employment of two existing Epidemiologists rather than laying them off on September 15, 2021. This approved no-cost amendment will maintain the salaries of the two existing employees to continue their roles conducting critical public health activities including COVID-19 surveillance and mitigation until April 30, 2022. The total budget for the grant award will be maintained at $456,287.
