Department Action

Respectfully requesting to renew/extend the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Grant 2019-MC-FX-K056. This award will allow to extend the contract and additional funding through September 30, 2022. The City of Dallas has agreed to reimburse Collin County up to $20,000.00 for funding related to combating internet-based crime against children.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval to extend Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) grant from the City of Dallas with no County match required, and authorize County Judge to execute same. The grant period is October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022. gz

FY 2022 ICAC Interlocal Agreement in the amount of $20,000 in federal funds with no required match. Funding is to be used for training, travel and equipment related to combatting online child abuse. Grant term in October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022.

Federal grant award in the amount of $20,000 with no county match required. Grant period is October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022. Grant award has been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached.
