Department Action

I am requesting Commissioners Court approval for the contract with Armstrong Labs to be renewed. Armstrong Labs won the bid to conduct the testing of forensic evidence for the FY2020 Forensic Evidence Grant and has been conducting this testing ever since. The current contract will expire during the current FY2022 grant and will also be needed for the FY2023 grant, which we applied for in February with Court approval. The contract will be renewed for the period of April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023.

Grant period is September 1, 2021 through August 31, 2022. If FY 2023 grant is not renewed, funding to be paid from General Fund (0001) and Special Revenue Fund (1037). (2580) DA Grants Fund.
