Department Action

The Juvenile Probation Department seeks Collin County Commissioners Court approval to execute a budget amendment for mandatory medical services for youth who are lawfully detained in the juvenile detention center. The required budget adjustment to meet immediate operational needs for juvenile medical services is $102,904.00. The increased cost for medical costs are pursuant to needed wage increases for mandatory positions and an increase in the staffing matrix for the juvenile facility to meet the immediate and growing medical needs of detained youth.
