Department Action

Approval for the creation of a regular, full-time position on a temporary basis from 4/15/2024 - 4/26/2024 to allow the current Director, Bill Burke, time to train his replacement before his retirement date on 4/26/2024. Because Mr. Burke is the sole individual in this Director position over the Construction & Projects department, there are no other county employees with the current job knowledge and skills to do this training, and the county could be negatively impacted by the absence of overlap in this position.

Budget Department Action
