This is to request Commissioners Court acceptance of the attached Immunizations/Locals grant contract with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). The application for this grant was approved on 03/11/2024 as agenda item #55604 by Commissioners Court.
The Immunizations/Locals grant has been renewed every year for several years and the grant is designated to prevent and control the transmission of vaccine-preventable diseases in children and adults.
The FY 2025 award is $354,062.00 for the grant period from September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025.

Per the attached budget, the Immunization Locals ILA Renewal FY 2025 will fund 12 existing positions and personnel at the percentage of FTE indicated on the budget. Based on this percentage and current salaries, the estimated total for salary and fringe for these 12 personnel is $352,266.60. The amount estimated on the attached grant summary budget for these twelve positions is $352,562. A county match to supplement grant funding for the full cost of these positions may be required. Position numbers attached to this grant are 200936, 200950, 201264, 201271, 201274, 201467, 201475, 201770, 00300654, 00300456, 00300214, and 00300650.
