Department Action

University Emergency Medical Response (UEMR), a Texas Non-Profit Corporation, currently has 65 licensed Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics who currently serve the University of Texas at Dallas Campus. UEMR is a 24/7 emergency medical service and is interested in assisting during emergencies or disasters in Collin County. Several members of UEMR have recently assisted the county with COVID-19 vaccinations. I respectfully request that the Commissioners’ Court consider and approve entering into a Mutual Aid Agreement with University Emergency Medical Response.

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval of entering into an Inter-Jurisdictional Mutual Aid Agreement with University Emergency Medical Response (UEMR) and authorize County Judge to execute same. sh
