Department Action

I respectfully request the Court to consider and approve a resolution in support of the Weston Volunteer Fire Department Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). Support of this program will benefit the unincorporated residents living within the Weston Fire District by providing education, outreach and grant opportunities to assist in the response to and mitigation of Wildland Fires. The City of Lucas has a similar program, Firewise, which was established in December of 2012.
There are no additional costs to the County in supporting the CWPP.

Budget Department Action

Requesting approval for the Weston Volunteer Fire Department Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). This program would be established at no additional cost to the county. No action by Budget Department.
