Department Action

We respectfully request Commissioners Court approval of 100 hours of overtime for the Records Department. This overtime will be used only on open records requests beginning April 4, 2022 through September 30, 2022. We currently have 167 requests and the number grows daily.

Purchasing Department Action

No action by Purchasing.

HR and/or IT Action

There are 17 people in three different job titles that were provided to HR as able to fulfill this request. If the individual with the lowest compensation performs all 100 hours of work the cost is $3,007. If the individual with the highest compensation performs all 100 hours of work the cost is $4,218.

Budget Department Action

Funding for overtime to come from the Sheriff's Office budget utilizing funding from vacant positions.

Auditor's Office Action

Funds available in the General Fund.
