Department Action

The Engineering Department is completing the design for Park Blvd. from parker Rd. to Spring Creek Parkway and construction is anticipated to begin this late summer 2022.
There is a very small section of the new roadway that will pass through the town of St. Paul. See attached exhibit showing the town limits along the roadway alignment. The two sections that run through the Town of St. Paul add up to about 900 linear feet. The County will be maintaining the sections of the roadway within unincorporated Collin County and through this ILA, will maintain these two small sections as well. The County will bill the town for their portions as needed.
The term of the ILA will be in effect for four (4) years commencing on the date of approval.
This agreement is in accordance with the Collin County Roadway Policy adopted on February 1, 2021 (CO#2021-109-02-01). (Attached)

ACTION REQUESTED:
It is requested that the Commissioners Court consider approval of the Interlocal Agreement with the Town of St. Paul for roadway maintenance along Park Blvd. from Parker Rd to Spring Creek Parkway and allow Judge Hill to execute the agreement.
