Department Action

This is to request Commissioners Court acceptance of the amendment to the Immunizations/Locals grant with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). The FY 2023 award is $354,062.00 in level funding for the period from September 1, 2022 to August 31, 2023.

The renewal application for this grant was approved on April 11, 2022 as Agenda Item #51898. Local Health Department awards are “one-time” only and activities should not incur future reoccurring costs beyond 08/31/2023.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval to accept the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) no-cost extension to the immunization program grant to increase the award by $354,062.00, to extend contract term to August 31, 2023, and authorize Board President to execute same. gz

HR and/or IT Action

FY2023 Immunization/Locals Grant Program Renewal in the amount of $325,529 for salary and fringe for 12 existing personnel Grant period is September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023.

Budget Department Action

Amendment No. 4 to DSHS Contract No. HHS000119700018 FY2023 Immunization/Locals Grant Program Renewal Award in the amount of $354,062. Grant funding includes salary and benefits for immunizations program staff as well as travel, supplies and postage. Local funding of $784,664 budgeted in Health Care for the remainder of the program. No county match required. Grant period is September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023.
