Department Action

We respectfully request Commissioners Court approval to purchase a replacement 911 emergency recording system (HigherGround) in the amount of $40,025.
The HigherGround system is near end of life and serviceability, and has fallen into disrepair.

Purchasing Department Action

Requesting Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval to (1) award contract 2022-248, 911 Recording System to Commercial Electronics Corp. and; (2) allow an exemption from the competitive bidding process per Local Government Code 262.024 (7) (a) for Commercial Electronics Corp. as the sole source provider of HigherGround recording systems and suite of products in the State of Texas. This replaces Court Order 2013-134-02-25. ha
