Request Commissioners Court consideration and approval for contract change order No. 12 to Ratcliff Constructors for IFB 2021-239, Construction, Collin County Adult Detention Facility, Phase 1.
PCO 18 – Add to connect to existing storm drain. Storm drain, found during construction, ran under the existing building. Part of the cost includes redesign of grade beams to avoid the existing drain. $107,231.30
PCO 40 – City of McKinney required exploratory digging to determine responsibility for water leak. It was determined that the City was responsible for, the leak, but they will not pay for the exploration. $1,277.16
PCO 42 – City required change of floor drains at tier level floor drains. Cost is for material only. $4,272.10
PCO 46 – Owner requested change to add bond beams to open the masonry wall from the exterior. This will allow better access to buildout the shell space in the future. $3,030.80
Total for this change order – $115,811.36 or 0.30% of contract
