Respectfully requesting approval to apply for the FY 2024 UASI Regional Grant. This grant will partially fund the salary and benefits for two full time Research Analysts within the Fusion Center.

HR and/or IT Action

FY 2023 UASI Grant (1 of 3 grants in total for UASI) covers a portion of the salary and fringe for two (2) existing Research Analyst positions. No increase to headcount. The combined amount of grant funding from the all three (3) UASI grants is sufficient to cover 100% of the estimated cost of salary and fringe for these two positions. All of the UASI grants must be fully funded and received to fully fund the two (2) positions at 100%. Grant term is 9/1/2023 - 8/31/2024.

Budget Department Action

FY 2023 UASI Regional Grant in the amount of $144,422 in federal funds with no county match required. Grant partially funds (2) existing full time Research Analysts in the Fusion Center (no increase to headcount). Remaining salaries for these (2) employees are covered on other grants making them 100% funded. Grant term is September 1, 2023 through August 31, 2024.

Auditor's Office Action

Grant application has been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Grant to fund partial salary and benefits for two full time Sheriff's Office Research Analysts for the Fusion Center. This will be a 1-year grant period. Grant period is September 1, 2023 through August 31, 2024. Grant funds in the amount of $144,422 with no county match required.
