FYI to Commissioners Court for contract change order No. 13 to Ratcliff Constructors for IFB 2021-239, Construction, Collin County Adult Detention Facility, Phase 1. This change order was previously approved by the County Administrator per Court Order NO. 2007-180-02-27. PCO 41 -Add to modify, and expand, existing Recreation yard curbs. It was determined during shop drawing review that extending the curbs would allow better water protection for the first level once the traffic coating is applied. $18,265.73 PCO 44 - Credit for unused formwork for 2" depression in one holding cell. The depression was removed from scope. ($255.97) PCO 47 -Credit to reimburse Latta Tech for travel expenses to San Antonio to witness factory test of equipment. A corresponding add will be given to the Architects contract to get the funds to the Security Designer. ($862.57) PCO 48 -Architect requested add to include more waterproofing at expansion joints with the existing building. When brick was removed, it was determined that more waterproofing is needed. $4,774.00. This change order adds 36 days to the schedule pertaining to PR#4/PCO 18, and one day per PCO#048 for a total of 37 days. Previous completion date of 3/4/24. New completion date of 4/10/24. Total for this change order -$21,921.19 or 0.057% of contract Total changes for this contract -$20,435.00 or 0.057% of contract
